President Vucic: Serbia will not impose sanctions against Russia for as long as it can
The Serbian authorities will adhere to the decision of the National Security Council of the country not to impose sanctions on Russia as much as possible, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on TV Pink.
“Today I have not heard the position” for ” or “against” sanctions— (say— RBC) if something happens, then you can, and if it doesn’t — it is forbidden. Others, at least openly declare — impose sanctions and we know what their policy is. Our business— fight for your country, stick to the paper that you yourself wrote— decisions of the National Security Council, as far as we can and for as long as we can,— he said.
In addition, Vučić said that he intends to have a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future, including on the issue of gas supplies and prices.
